Pediatric Dental Anesthesia Center

Our highly skilled pediatric anesthesiologists and pediatric dentists work together to offer your child the hospital quality care without the hospital wait-lists.

The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry as the advocate for oral health in children and persons with special health care needs, recognizes that General Anesthesia is effective and safe for children with:

  •  extensive dental treatment,
  •  high anxiety or fear,
  •  uncooperative age-appropriate behavior,
  • disabilities, or other medical conditions.

What is General Anesthesia?

General anesthesia provides deep sleep. Because our goal is to provide the safest and most comfortable way to treat young children with extensive decay, our pediatric anesthesiologists work together to provide deep sleep during the procedure. Breathing and vitals will be monitored throughout the procedure.

Before your appointment

Provide our office with a complete and updated health history of your child. Follow instructions of our office regarding required health forms before dental surgery.
Follow office instructions regarding feeding  to prevent pneumonia and anesthesia complications, your child should not eat or drink anything past midnight the day of the procedure.

Safety is Our Priority

Before having anesthesia, your child will need a physical examination by a pediatrician to identify any health issues that could affect the safety of anesthesia. In addition, at the day of the treatment, one of the anesthesiologists will examine the child, and review your child's current health and medical history before anesthesia.

All necessary treatment will be done in one visit.

At the Pediatric Dental Anesthesia Center our priority is safety, quality and access to dental care for all children.
